Honey Flavors
Clover – New York/Pennsylvania summer honey made from local flowers that bloom during this time. Light in color.
Wildflower – Fall honey produced in Pennsylvania off of flowers that bloom such as goldenrod, Japanese knot weed, and many others. Dark in color and has a strong taste.
Orange Blossom – Made in late winter, early spring, off of blooming orange trees. Medium in color.
Blueberry – Made in Maine or New Jersey around May while bees are pollinating Blueberries. Medium in color.
Raspberry – Made in Oregon or Maine during the spring/summer. Light in color and tastes sweet with a raspberry taste.
Buckwheat – Made in Washington in the fall. Dark in color. Has a strong (some say malty) flavor and will remind you of molasses.
Apple – Made in Pennsylvania during the spring time. Typically light in color. Light spring flavor with a hint of spice that reminds some of cinnamon.
Tupelo – Produced from the tupelo gum tree which grows mainly in Florida and Georgia in the swamp areas. The taste is usually describe as a mild buttery flavor.
