Description
Spring nucs will go on sale in Jan/Feb for preorders. These will be 5 DEEP frames in a plastic box that is yours to keep and take with you to make it easier to travel and transfer them into your boxes. (THIS IS NOT A BOX THEY CAN LIVE IN; IT IS FOR TRANSPORTATION ONLY). They will contain a new queen, and you can choose to have them marked for an additional cost if you feel you want this option. This will contain 3½ – 4 frames of brood and 1 – 1½ frames of honey with bees and the queen. She will be free roaming in her own box and NOT in a cage.
You can choose to receive fondant and/or a nuc net with your purchase as well. The fondant is Hive Alive Fondant to use for feed to help your spring nuc get going in their new home. The nuc net is a fine mesh net that fits around your nuc to make it easier to take with you in a car if there are bees escaping from the nuc box.
There are NO REFUNDS.
Pickup morning dates will be options at checkout.
You will want to plan to take the nuc either in a truck bed or in the car with you (NOT IN A TRUNK). Bees can easily overheat so plan accordingly.
